KEVIN RAY

Kevin Ray is a 2007 MAC nominated composer and singer living in New York city whose work has been seen and heard in theatres and federal courtrooms, and on film and TV. In January 2008, more than 20 up and coming singers performed a musical revue of his work, “Songs from the Magic Trash Can” at the Laurie Beechman Theater on 42nd Street. His songs have been featured in the December 2007 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids Fundraiser "Unsung" alongside award winning Broadway composers Andrew Lippa and Laurence O’Keefe.
Kevin has written and staged a reading of a full length musical -"The Last Word" about jazz musicians in Los Angeles in the 40's and is currently at work on another. Kevin’s music was featured in last year’s independent film Zerophilia. He has also recorded songs for MTV’s “Made.” Kevin’s previous two records “Karaoketown” and “Radio Friendly” were released in 2004 and 2002 and can be found on iTunes and CDBABY.
