Comedienne/singer Emily McNamara teamed up with piano hipster Ricky Ritzel for the first time ever on stage together, to present an hour of fun, laughs…and great music.  There was a palpable electricity in the air between the two of them, and a new musical comedy team was born.  Look for them this fall, at Dillon’s. Michele Balan, one of the four finalists, and the the last woman comic standing, on NBC’s 2006 “Last Comic Standing,”  was in the audience having a ball, the night after her appearance at the Ice Palace. More shows are coming out to Fire Island, traditionally a haven for live performance, so if you’re going to be on the Island, or have friends out there, let them know they should support live entertainment and see a show.
