Complete Casting Announced for Broadway's Finian's Rainbow Revival. The cast will include Piano Bar and Cabaret's very own Terri White.
Casting is now complete for the upcoming Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow — the 1947 musical comedy satire by Burton Lane, Fred Saidy and E.Y. "Yip" Harburg — which will begin previews at the St. James Theatre Oct. 8 at 8pm. Based on the recent, acclaimed City Center Encores! engagement, Finian's will officially open on Broadway Oct. 29 at 6:45pm.
As previously announced, the cast will be headed by Wonderful Town's Kate Baldwin as Sharon McLonergan, Xanadu's Cheyenne Jackson as Woody Mahoney, The Seafarer Tony winner Jim Norton as Finian McLonergan, Young Frankenstein Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald as the leprechaun Og and Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper (The Life) as Bill Rawkins.
Newly announced cast members include Guy Davis (Sunny), Alina Faye (Susan Mahoney), Brian Reddy (Sheriff), David Schramm (Senator Rawkins), Terri White (Dottie) and William Youmans (Buzz Collins).
David Richenthal and Jack Viertel will produce the Broadway transfer. Warren Carlyle (A Tale of Two Cities), who helmed the March Encores! staging, will again direct and choreograph. Rob Berman will also repeat his duties as musical director.
