The Carlyle Hotel has announced the 2010 Winter/Spring season of performers at the legendary Café Carlyle,  the “favorite of all New York nightspots,” says Liz Smith, another New York legend. The Carlyle’s resident leading lady, Elaine Stritch, will ring in the New Year, with her all new show At Home at the Carlyle: Elaine Stritch: Singin’ Sondheim…One Song at a Time, from January 5-30.

Two-time Tony Award-winning actress Christine Ebersole returns with her musical director, John Oddo, for a three-week engagement from February 2-20. Following Ms. Ebersole, will be Britain’s John Standing performing an evening of Noel Coward from February 23-March 6. Making her Café Carlyle debut in a three week run from March 9-27, will be Tony Award-winner (Miss Saigon) Lea Salonga. Legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins will be in residence for an extended engagement from May 4- June 12. Sutton Foster, Tony Award-winner for her performance in the Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, will make her Café Carlyle debut in a two-week engagement from June 15-26. Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will once again perform on Monday evenings, from January 4 through May 31
