Jeff Washburn grew up in a household surrounded by music. His mother and father, an opera singer and guitarist respectively, encouraged his growth in the arts, and he began taking guitar lessons from his father at the age of ten, soon branching out on his own by learning to play by ear. Jeff continues to expand his musical horizons, and keeps busy by playing regularly with five different bands: Ryness, 2/3 Goat, Jonathan Walsh, Kevin Ray and Josh Moore. Ryness, featuring Bryce Ryness from the cast of Hair, released their first studio album last year, and 2/3 Goat just finished recording an EP, to be released later this year.
